Killer Plants

Quick gameplay tips
- Patience is key with Killer Kudzu! You haven't got any ways to increase its power when it's in play, so only play it when you have enough power to play that minion you want from your discard pile. But make sure to not keep it on the board for too long, it doesn't have any ability aside from its Talent and if it gets taken out in a Clash of Titans that's a terrible outcome for you.
- A prime candidate for Sprout's replacement minion is Weed Eater - a 3 power minion that gains +2 power at the start of your next turn!
- Killer Plants are definitely one of the slower factions in the game, but have faith and your power will grow. Don't let other players' flashy turns spook you into acting before the time is right, trust in your strength and lay down Deep Roots to prevent them wrecking your plans.
Gameplay
We are all but fertilizer for the great plant called life
Killer Plants are all about setting down their roots, establishing a reliable source of fertilizer and spreading like weeds. Their cards typically have quite a low impact the turn they're played, but get considerably stronger when given a turn or two to grow. Their 2-power minion, Sprout, destroys itself at the start of the turn - allowing the Killer Plants to search their deck for a minion of power 3 or less to replace it. Mulch! Mulch! Mulch! They also come with a selection of play-on-base actions that prevent other players from affecting their plans, 'Deep Roots' prevents their minions from being moved around, and 'Sleep Spores' reduces the power of enemy minions. Killer Kudzu is a Titan that allows them to replay minions from their discard pile, provided they've allowed it to grow big enough off of the board beforehand. It also has the additional ability to put 2 more minions back into their deck to be played later, ideal for a faction with such strong ways of searching for/playing minions from their deck. Their main weakness as a faction is that they're too honest, all of their plays are telegraphed due to their tendency for delayed effects on the board and this tends to leave them behind a bit when it comes to surprise base-scoring antics. Their main way to combat this is with their cards that prevent other players from messing with them, but they definitely have exploitable downtime in their strength.
