Mad Scientists

Quick gameplay tips
- The Bride is a flexible Titan in that you have a selection of options to choose from when playing it, and each method will have its advantages based on your current position. Removing a +1 power counter will probably always be used, but the ease of boxing a discarded minion you don't care about is very useful, and there are even times when destroying one of your minions can be very helpful.
- If you provide The Monster with a consistent source of +1 power counters then you'll have a consistent extra minion play, one of the strongest resources in the game.
- Igor is your 2-power minion, and its ability means that whenever it's destroyed or discarded you can place a +1 power counter on one of your minions. While it can be tempting to BLAST IGOR EVERY CHANCE YOU GET remember that it does have 2 power and gives 1 power when it's destroyed - maths. If you have to destroy a minion it's an obvious choice, but give the poor guy a break every now and then.
Gameplay
THEY'LL SEE! THEY'LL ALL SEE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
The Mad Scientists are all about +1 power counters, one of the core Smash Up archetypes. Their unique spin is that they excel at removing power counters from their minions for powerful benefits, i like to imagine they're removing body parts and throwing them at the enemy. The Monster can use its Talent to remove a +1 power counter to play an extra minion, really strong for setting up a good presence on the board and overwhelming their opponents. 'Blitzed' is an action that allows them to remove any number of power counters from their minions and destroy a minion with power less than or equal to the counters removed. Although this is the only enemy minion control card in the faction it's a really good one, with a good setup the Mad Scientists can zap even the most powerful enemy minions into oblivion. They've also got some decent self-destruction synergy, 'Grave Situation' is a play-on-base action that allows any of their minions destroyed there to return to their hand instead of the discard pile. This is really good utility to prevent aggressive opponents from bullying them off of a base, and also combos very nicely with 'Body Shop' - an action that allows them to destroy one of their minions to place power counters equal to its power among any of their minions. The Mad Scientists can falter slightly if they don't get a decent foothold to start ramping up the power counters, but cards like The Monster and 'It's Alive!' are really good at snowballing a fearsome presence.
